Dive in and explore the underwater paradise of Seychelles! Beau Vallon Bay, where our resort is situated, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mahé. With crystal clear water, multi-coloured corals and a myriad of underwater wonders, Beau Vallon Bay has become a year-round paradise for both snorkellers and divers. Offering the best of facilities for diving and snorkelling around North Mahe and with boat diving trips morning and afternoon each day and, subject to weather conditions, one boat is dedicated to the longer range dive sites for experienced divers.
Snorkelling is available on many of the dive trips but dedicated snorkelling trips are also scheduled. The morning dives are generally deeper dives, while afternoon dives tend to be shallower and so more suitable for snorkelling. Visit our Dive Sites page for further information.
Dive Courses: For those who would like to learn to dive there are a number of diving courses available from one day scuba diving experiences right through to PADI's internationally recognised diving certifications. For already qualified divers we can provide the full range of PADI courses from Advanced Open Water right through to Instructor level. All learn to dive courses are available by arrangement 7 days a week. Our Courses pages have lots more information.

The best time to dive the Seychelles is April, October or November when the seas are calm and boats can reach the more remote spots where you will often dive with sharks and manta rays. The weather is cooler and more humid during the southeast monsoon season of late May to September. During this period the visibility is lower, however the presence of lots of plankton brings in the whale sharks. The warmest weather is during the northwest monsoon from December to March. The water is always warm, from 25 to 29 oC.
