SENPA - ESPLANADE CRAFT KIOSKS VICTORIA

SENPA is an organisation which promotes and develops small and medium sized enterprises and craft work in Seychelles. The Fiennes Esplanade Artisanal Kiosks epitomise the colourful blend of cultures and traditions which characterises the Seychellois society. The style is a marriage between traditional and modern architecture, which is reflected in the products on sale. The shady surroundings provide a cool ambience for browsing at leisure while choosing a souvenir item.

CARREFOUR DES ARTS - VICTORIA

Carrefour des Arts, residing in the heart of the Seychelles capital Victoria, features the best of local art and craftwork, with themes drawing extensively on Seychellois traditions, folklore and environment. From illustrations to fabric art, Carrefour des Arts plays host to an array of exciting artistic styles, serving as an outlet for Seychellois creativity while providing visitors with an ideal venue to secure a vivid memento of their island experience. Carrefour des Arts also houses a cafeteria for refreshments and retail outlets for CDs, DVDs, videos and audio tapes produced by Seychellois musicians. An on-site box office sells tickets for local performing arts events and productions. Carrefour des Arts is operated by the National Arts Council of Seychelles for the promotion and direct benefit of local artists.

BLACK PEARL (SEYCHELLES) LTD - PRASLIN

At Black Pearl experience three attractions in one: The Giant Clam Farm, Pearl Farm and the Black Pearl shop. Enjoy the unique chance to encounter over forty thousand giant clams and to learn about their feeding and reproduction habitats at the Black Pearl Ocean Farm. Black pearls are also cultured here in the first and only pearl farm in the Indian Ocean region. Situated next to the farm is the Black Pearl Shop, selling a selection of beautiful high-class jewellery and other exotic creations made from locally cultivated pearls from the Seychelles ‘Black Lip Oyster’. You can choose from the array of matching rings, earrings, pendants or strands designed and hand crafted by Linneys the internationally awarded West Australian jewelers. Set in yellow or white 18-carat gold and with argyle diamonds, many of which are of a “One Off” design.

COLBERT NOURRICE STUDIO - GALLERY VICTORIA

Colbert Nourrice is one of the most promising and aspiring young artists currently on the contemporary art scene in Seychelles. A recipient of the third Award in the 5th Biennale of Contemporary Art in 1996, he has received much admiration and media attention for his symbolic paintings based on the cycle of human lives in daily living. Colbert has developed a narrative style of painting using signs, symbols and motifs framed to form a striking tapestry of linear images reminiscent of Egyptian hieroglyphics.

EDEN ART GALLERY

Located at Eden Plaza on Eden Island, the gallery is currently the biggest, international contemporary art gallery in Seychelles. Promoting and selling artworks from other Seychellois and international artists. Original artworks made from all types all types of media, oil, acrylic, water colour etc….
